this morning i signed myself up for http://www.yogaglo.com/. it's a yoga website where you can take classes, so you can have these wonderful teachers right in your living room.  I started with this teacher Elena Brower.  I found her website through my friend Cherie Healey, http://www.shristudio.com/Welcome_.html , a couple weeks ago, and I loved listening to her talk about yoga and life.  http://www.artofattention.com/.  Her class was awesome.  Story was jumping around like crazy around me, and sitting and standing on my back through parts of it, but i could just pause it and start again.  Towards the end of the class she asked us to get into an arch.  I did my first full arch today in my living room! I was so giddy...

kai's earth day birthday! beautiful cleansing week for us all.  since kai was born we have healed the trauma of his hospital birth and grown in ways i could never imagine 8 years ago. let's keep learning everyday and unschooling ourselves to follow our hearts.  our core family connection is the foundation for all of our happiness and love. keep that sacred. if something interferes with that- let it go....

letting go and smiling through the mess

this past week i have shifted and let go of so many things. i have been slowly clearing out the garage since january, and this weekend it finally got to the point were it looked organized! something shifted in me and i saw things differently-it was really easy to let go. maybe it's because it is spring and a time of rebirth and change anyway. maybe my body is getting ready for another rebirth, since my sweet kai's birthday is this week. i am riding this cleanse and remembering to smile through it and enjoy it.
i cleaned up and put air in the tires of one of my old bikes. then i put it out by the mailbox with a free sign. i never ride it, and i knew it would make someone else so much happier. now it's not gathering dust, someone is enjoying it through the april breezes. i feel free and have not stopped letting go- working on the office now.:)
on a side note too, cleaning all this stuff out has been great for my running motivation. run jen run!!!
