we went to sanborn creek today in saratoga. we used to go there every week when kai was little for mt school. the creek was beautiful and flowing. story and kai both jumped in immediately and felt the rush of the current. we took a hike up the trail and had lunch by the rocks.
we missed going to berkeley this week, because of the 4th of july. our bodies can feel it when it's been more then a week without the trees. when you are used to going to the woods, or the ocean on a weekly basis, your body and your heart crave it.
we said hello to a banana slug and sang to the trees.
