it's taken the whole year, but with story's help kai is not afraid of snails or worms anymore! this is so big- up there with kai teaching himself to read this year. our goal this year was to reconnect as a family and get back to nature this first year as an unschooling family. our mornings outside, hikes at hidden villa (the local organic farm), travels to sunol, ocean play in santa cruz, and our berkeley trackers bay nature program have welcomed us back to the trees. the woods and the ocean don't care how long you have been away, they are always there and show you themselves with all their love and beauty. we thank you for your love and healing energy.
